Finca Sebastian is one of the 3 fincas from Gaia Coffee, run by Fernando and Angie. The fincas are located in Naranjo in the Western Valley, about 50 km northwest from Costa Rica’s capital San José.
Fernando is an agricultural engineer specialized in coffee plants. He cultivates his own plants using stems of existing plants rather then seeds to ensure that every new generation of coffee plants is as good as the previous generation. Angie, on the other hand, has excellent tasting skills and she is a certified coffee grader. With Fernando’s agricultural skills and Angie’s taste they together grow single origin coffee of not just high quality, but of constant high quality every year again.
